Converting to environmentally friendly energy

We use our thermal engineering to propose optimal energy solutions tailored to each business location.
Complex issues abound in industry, from streamlining production to eco-friendly reforms and BCP. We work with our clients to find solutions to difficult energy optimization problems, using fact-finding investigations, feasibility studies, and simulations to examine the circumstances at each location and building.
We promote conversions to environmentally friendly energy as environmental solutions that enable customers to pursue economic efficiency as part of their CSR management and contribute to their local communities and properly assess risks.

Realization of your company’s CSR

Community development through locally produced energy
for local consumption
(rural community revitalization and local energy
from biomass and other technologies)

We effectively introduce renewable energy systems comprising biomass, solar power, and storage battery components and ZEB and hydrogen energy (production and storage) technology in use at the Takasago Thermal Engineering Innovation Center to help our customers achieve their carbon neutrality goals. Local production for local consumption through local recycling not only leads to decarbonization, but also to energy resilience, improving overall resilience and promoting the revitalization of local economies. We provide a broad range of environmental solutions, from feasibility studies to installation and operation support and energy services to promote community development through locally produced energy for local consumption in collaboration with companies and local governments.

Recycling with local materials

We feed carbon-neutral biomass energy from local materials (e.g. wood, grass, sewage sludge) into boilers and biomass combined heat and power (CHP) to generate heat and power.

Case study

Fuel conversion to biomass boilers

We have converted some of the municipal gas boilers used at our plants to wood chip biomass boilers as part of an effort to collect biomass fuel made from recycled materials from the vicinity and recycle it locally. These conversions to environmentally friendly energy reduce energy costs, achieve BCP measures by diversifying heat sources, and reduce CO2 and contribute to the local community through carbon neutrality.

Fuel conversion to
LNG + high-efficiency boilers

The existing fuel oil boilers were converted to high-efficiency, compact, once-through boilers fueled by liquefied natural gas to reduce environmental impact and energy costs.
The energy-saving system also utilizes the evaporation heat of LNG for production-side cooling.
