GDoc® (Green Energy Management Doctor) is a control system that optimizes facility operation throughout the building life cycle. GDoc® DHC is equipped with an AI “rules engine”* that infers optimal control settings from measurements and operational know-how.

  • Rules engine: Technology that derives new facts and rules from known facts and rules

System overview

GDoc® DHC is an automatic heat source control system for customers who own large thermal storage tanks at facilities such as district heating and cooling plants. The system automatically calculates proper thermal storage volumes based on load forecasts and outputs schedules for starting and stopping heat sources to achieve the target thermal storage.

The system is structured with rules based on operators’ know-how, so it can accommodate complex heat source operations. The system contributes to both stable plant operation and labor savings.

The AI uses various data to automatically propose operation plans for heat sources in place of operators.
The system automatically outputs operation schedules

Structuring the system with operational rules learned from actual operators enables the AI to make the complex decisions previously made by operators
