Basic Approach to
the Environment
Our basic approach to environmental conservation is to channel our environmental conservation technologies and corporate strengths into contributions to the conservation of the global environment while promoting the sustainable development of society.
Based on this approach, we have established a Basic Environmental Policy and codified a promotion system. In our business activities, we proactively develop energy-saving and CO2-saving technologies and work with our customers to optimize facility operations to realize a decarbonized society.
Basic Environmental Policy
As an Environment-Creator™, we strive to provide environmentally friendly technologies and services through collaboration with all stakeholders.
- We contribute to the realization of a decarbonized, recycle-based society by promoting the efficient use of energy and resources.
- We work to achieve efficient, optimal spatial environments through such efforts as actively deploying energy-saving technologies and optimizing building operations.
- We strive to create new value through proactive research and development in resource recycling, energy value chains, and other areas.
- We strive for biodiversity through initiatives to conserve water and forest resources.
- Through the above, we promote efforts to address climate-related issues.
Environmental Management System
In 2015, we integrated Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) (497KB) certifications acquired by our domestic branches throughout the Company. We will continue to make improvements and raise the level of our environmental conservation activities.
Targets and Results of Environmental Conservation Activities
In FY2021, we implemented environmental conservation activities after setting quantitative targets for each activity goal and item at worksites and offices.
